David Dong is a Senior Analyst in the Active Public Markets team at University Pension Plan (UPP), where he focuses on external manager allocation for credit and multi-asset strategies. His responsibilities include investment due diligence, portfolio construction, and portfolio management across a range of hedge fund strategies, including managed futures, systematic macro, quantitative and discretionary multi-strategy, and long-biased credit.
Before his current position, David held several roles at UPP, starting as an intern in Active Public Markets and advancing through various positions focused on both hedge fund and long-biased equity investing. Prior to joining UPP, he completed internships with Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP), OMERS, and BMO Capital Markets, where he developed experience in research, trading, and analytics.
David holds a Master of Financial Economics (MFE) from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management and a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, with a double major in Actuarial Science and Statistics. He is also a CAIA Charterholder.

Lekan has more than 7 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Fiera Capital, Lekan worked for a couple of Canada’s largest investment management and financial services firms, specializing in business development and client servicing. In addition, Lekan played for the CFL’s Montreal Alouettes as a defensive back.

Lekan obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Finance from the University of Windsor: Odette School of Business. He has completed Levels 1 & 2 of the CFA curriculum and is currently a CFA Level 3 Candidate.

He is a Portfolio Manager at the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario, where he focuses on the management of global multi-factor equity portfolios. Previously, he was Managing Principal at WaveFront Global Asset Management, with responsibilities spanning portfolio management, research, and trading. John holds an M.A.Sc and B.A.Sc from the University of Toronto, and is a CFA Charterholder.

Diwaker joined HOOPP, Total Fund Risk, as Senior Manager in September, 2022, and his primary focus is balance sheet and liquidity risk management. Prior to joining HOOPP, he was with BCI in Public Markets Risk Management with responsibility to manage risk for Public Equity, Public Debt, and Private Debt asset classes. Additionally, Diwaker also managed risks for prime brokerage desks at both Scotiabank and TD Securities. Diwaker holds a Bachelor of Applied Sciences, Electronics Engineering, from Simon Fraser University and an MBA from Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. He holds the CFA and FRM designations.

Prior to his role at Canada Post, Ryan was an Associate at investment management firm Neuberger Berman Group LLC where he worked across the private markets platform.

Ryan holds an Honours Business Administration (HBA) degree from the Ivey Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering Science (BESc), Integrated Engineering degree from Western University. Ryan is also a CFA charterholder.

Brittany Trumper is a Director on the Global Investment Strategy team at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. In her role, Brittany is responsible for developing strategic responses to emerging global themes that traverse asset classes and regions. She leads key cross-functional, strategic initiatives for the Investments Division and enterprise across a range of topics, including AI, technology and data, and geopolitics.

Prior to joining OTPP, Brittany was a Senior Manager in Deloitte’s M&A practice, specializing in Integration & Separation Advisory, and was the Chief of Staff for Deloitte’s National Consumer Practice. Brittany brings over 13 years of experience across a number of industries, including CPG & Retail, Transportation, Mining, and Technology, and has advised on more than 15 transactions. Her experience advising clients spans integration design and execution, M&A strategy and market analysis, value creation, due diligence, and large program management.

She began her career in the gold mining industry as a corporate lobbyist.

Brittany holds a Masters in Global Affairs from the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto and BA in Political Science from McGill University.

Marc-Antoine Vézina-Tardif

As a director in the Investment Funds and External Management group at La Caisse, Marc-Antoine V. Tardif focuses on Private Equity investing. He manages relationships with private equity fund managers and supports the development and execution of fund strategies within La Caisse’s Private Equity portfolio. His role includes evaluating new fund opportunities, overseeing existing fund investments, and contributing to strategic partnerships globally. Mr. V. Tardif joined La Caisse in 2015 and has held increasing responsibilities within the Private Equity and Private Funds teams. He began his career at La Caisse as an Analyst in the Private Equity group. A former Vert & Or student-athlete, he holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a specialization in Finance from the Université de Sherbrooke.

Khalisa Valani is a Principal in the External Strategies team at OPTrust. Khalisa is responsible for macro and multi-strategy hedge fund strategies as well as incubation investments in novel and transformative technologies. In addition, she spearheads value creation efforts, which seek to connect external managers and companies with internal stakeholders to drive insight sharing and strategic benefits. Khalisa holds a degree in Nanotechnology Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

We have developed criteria and explanatory notes for six Green Key categories (hotels and hostels, campsites and holiday parks, small accommodations, conference centres, restaurants, and attractions) covering the same 13 criteria areas.
